Golden straw in colour; minerally, peach pit nose; medium-bodied, dry, white peach flavour; elegant with an intriguing note of almond-like bitterness on the finish. (90)

Henry of Pelham Classic Riesling 2022 (Niagara Peninsula, $15.95, CSPC #268375)
Palest straw in colour; lightly minerally, grapefruit nose; medium-bodied, dry, crisp lemony-grapefruit flavour; good length. (88.5)

Quinta de Curvos Loureiro 2022 (Vinho Verde, Portugal, $13.95, Vintages #471284)
Bright, shining white gold colour; minerally, apricot nose; medium-bodied, dry, crisp, elegant, fresh and lively green peach flavour; great length; easy drinking. (91)

Torres Salmos 2018 (Priorat, Spain)
A blend of Cariñena and Garnacha. Dense purple in colour; spicy nose of black fruits with vanilla oak notes; full-bodied, dry, elegant; lovely mouth-feel; beautifully balanced flavours of blackberry and black plum carried on lively acidity to an end taste of dark chocolate. (92)

Torres Purgatori 2020 (Costers del Segre, Spain)
A blend of Cariñena and Garnacha. Dense purple colour; cedary, plum bouquet with oak spice; full-bodied, dry, richly extracted, ripe plum flavour with balancing acidity, well-integrated oak and great length. (91)

Mud House Pinot Noir 2020 (Central Otago, New Zealand, $24.95)
Deep ruby in colour; cedary, cherry nose; medium-bodied, black cherry flavour; beautifully balanced, well-integrated oak and a lovely mouth-feel. (92)

Coto de Imaz Gran Reserva 2015 (Rioja, $34.95)
Dense purple in colour; spicy, coconut and strawberry bouquet; medium to full-bodied, dry, elegant and harmonious, beautifully balanced. Lovely mouth-feel, with a note of orange peel on the finish. (93)

Tedeschi Capital San Rocco Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2019 (Veneto, $26.95, Vintages #719294)
Deep purple colour; toasty, cedary, black plum and licorice nose with oak spice; full-bodied, dry, richly extracted blackberry and plum flavours carried on fresh acidity; beautifully balanced, firmly structured with ripe tannins. (92)
