Made by Henry of Pelham. Light straw in colour; minerally, lemon and grapefruit on the nose; light-bodied, dry, lightly floral, apple and lemon flavours. Well-made. (89)

Red House Wine Co. Baco Cabernet Sauvignon (Ontario, $14.45 [$12.45 until January 29], CSPC #279521)
Deep purple colour; spicy, vanilla, blackberry bouquet with a smoky, charred note; medium-bodied, just off-dry, juicy, blackberry and black plum flavour with fresh, balancing acidity. Easy drinking. (88)

Luigi Bosca La Linda Malbec 2021 (Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza; $12.95, CSPC #11927)
Deep purple-ruby colour; cedary, smoky, blackberry nose; medium to full-bodied, dry, richly extracted blackberry, bitter chocolate and oak spice flavours. Well-balanced, lovely mouth-feel. (90)

Deep purple in colour; cedary, blackcurrant nose; medium-bodied, dry, ripe blackcurrant, juicy, firmly structured, and richly extracted cassis flavour. Well-balanced. Great value. (90)

Deep ruby-purple; cedar, black cherry nose with oak spice; medium- to full-bodied, dry, plum and cherry flavours carried on lively acidity. Good value. (89)
