Monday, June 9th:

Township 7 Interlude Pinot Gris 2024 (Washington fruit)
Bronze-pink in colour; peach pit nose with a light floral note; medium-bodied, dry, white peach and apple flavours with lively acidity; long, fresh finish. (89)

Township 7 Interlude Sauvignon Blanc 2024 (Washington fruit)
Pale straw colour; grassy, green plum bouquet; medium-bodied, crisply dry, gooseberry and green apple flavours with a long, lemony finish. (90)

Township 7 Interlude Chardonnay 2024 (Washington fruit)
Bright, pale straw in colour; apple and lemon zest on the nose with a toasty note; medium-bodied, dry, Granny Smith apple flavour carried on lively acidity; well-integrated oak, with a saline note on the finish. (90)

Township 7 Interlude Rosé 2024 (Pinot Noir grapes from Russian River Valley, Sonoma)
Deep pink in colour; cherry pit nose; medium-bodied, dry, cherry and redcurrant flavours; well-balanced, with a firm finish. (90)

Hester Creek wines

Hester Creek Chardonnay 2023 (Southern Okanagan)
Pale straw in colour; spicy toasty, apple bouquet with vanilla notes; medium-bodied, dry, elegant, apple and lemon flavours; well-balanced, well-integrated oak and a lovely mouth feel. (91)

Hester Creek Character Red 2023
A blend of Petit Verdot, Malbec, Syrah and Italian Merlot. Deep ruby in colour; cedary, black fruit nose with oak spice; medium-bodied, dry, firmly structured, plum and dark chocolate flavours. (90)

Hester Creek Old Vine Cabernet Franc 2022
Deep ruby in colour; cedary, spicy, black plum with a vanilla lift; full-bodied, dry, plum and currant flavours with spicy oak notes; firmly structured with a floral flourish on the end taste. Evident but ripe tannins. (90)

Hester Creek The Judge 2021
47% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec – classic Bordeaux blend. Cedary, blackcurrant and black licorice bouquet with oak spice; full-bodied, dry, richly extracted blackcurrant and plum flavours with well-integrated oak. Beautifully balanced, with a savoury finish of ripe tannins. (92)

Friday June 10th:

Juice Wine Company Chardonnay 2024 (Niagara)
Palest straw in colour; apple and peach pit bouquet; medium-bodied, dry, lively apple and lemon flavours with fresh acidity. (89)

Juice Wine Company Cabernet Franc Rosé 2024
Light blush colour; a nose of banana with a thread of minerality; medium-bodied, dry; rich mouth feel; flavours of red plum and redcurrant. Good length. (88)

Juice Wine Company Gamay Noir 2014
Ruby colour; peppery, red plum bouquet with oak spice; medium-bodied, dry, savoury, plum flavour with a bay leaf note on the finish. (89)

The packaging of these wines is aesthetically pleasing, but the colourful wax tops are a devil to draw.
