A Wine Lover’s Diary, part 938: Family Time with Dinosaurs

Friday, August 23th: Our daughter Annabel and her son Declan, who live in Vancouver, arrived after spending time in Montreal and Ottawa.

Saturday, August 24th: Took our Annabel and Declan to the Dinosaur mini-golf on Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls. While they played 18 holes, Deborah and I went on the Ferris wheel – great views of both falls!

In the afternoon, Annabel and I went to Vineland Estates for a tasting of non-alcoholic wines, Eins-Zwei-Zero by Leitz winery in Rüdesheim. Bought the sparking Rosé and the still Rosé.

Sunday, August 25th: Guy, Sasha, and their children, Isla and Max, drove down from Waterloo so the cousins could get together. For the photo, Rosie the Rescue got camera shy. Cooked blueberry pancakes for all.

Monday, August 26th: Annabel drove Sherri Haigh and me into Toronto for a lunch meeting with Linda Franklyn at the Albany Club. Annabel is spending a couple of days in Toronto catching up with friends.
