Cune Blanco Reserva 2018

Malivoire Wismer-Foxcroft Gamay 2020 (Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara, $27.95)
This is, for my palate, the best Gamay Malivoire has produced. Deep ruby-purple in colour; the nose is minerally, cherry and plum with a light floral note; medium-bodied, dry, wonderfully balanced with richly extracted flavours of cherry and red plum with just a touch of oak to broaden the palate. Reminiscent of a cru Beaujolais.  (92)

Bright, pale straw in colour; grassy, lanolin and green plum nose with a toasty note; medium-bodied, dry with ripe peach, grapefruit and elderberry flavours; beautifully balanced with a long, crisp finish. White Bordeaux in style. (91)

Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Grand Reserve Chardonnay 2019 ($20.95, Vintages #593996)
Golden colour with a greenish tint; toasty, peachy-pineapple nose; medium to full-bodied, dry; richly extracted peach and pineapple flavours with a touch of vanilla; caressing mouth-feel, beautifully balanced with well-integrated oak. (91)
