Zenato San Benedetto Lugana 2016  (Veneto)

Made from a Soave grape grown on the southern banks of Lake Garda. Bright straw in colour, it offers a minerally, green melon bouquet; medium-bodied and dry, beautifully balanced ripe melon and lemon flavours fill the palate fish. (90)

Trius Barrel-Fermented Chardonnay 2016 (Niagara)

Winemaker Craig Macdonald at Trius in Niagara makes rich and compelling Chardonnays. Bright straw in colour, it shows a toasty apple and citrus nose. Medium-bodied and dry spicy flavours of apple and green pineapple fill the mouth, buttressed by well-integrated oak. (90)

Villa Ponciago La Réserve Fleurie 2015 (Beaujolais)

Dense purple in colour; spicy, cedary, blackcurrant and plum nose; medium-bodied, fruity and dry with cherry and red plum flavours. (89)
