Vineland Estates Elevation St. Urban Vineyard Riesling 2015 (Niagara Escarpment)

Pale lime colour; a nose of grapefruit and honey; light to medium-bodied, honeyed grapefruit and apple flavour; well balanced with a spritzy note. ****½ (89)
Food match: Asian dishes; pork chop

Boeckel Gewurztraminer 2015 (Alsace)
$17.95 (Vintages #469700)
Bright straw in colour, the wine has the quintessential aromatic bouquet of the grape – lychee and rosewater. Full-bodied and off-dry, this Gewurz is round on the palate with mouth-filling lychee and sweet grapefruit flavours. ****½ (89)
Food match: Lightly curried dishes; Munster cheese

Château de Sérame Minervois 2010 (Languedoc)

Dense purple-black in colour with a cedary, spicy nose of black fruits; full-bodied, dry, blackcurrant and dark chocolate flavours finishing on ripe tannins. ****½ (89)
