Santa Margherita donates to the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life 

For the past three years, Santa Margherita has been a platinum sponsor of the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life.

So far, the generosity of Canadians has helped them raise almost $200,000, all of which helps provide housing, food, medication, counselling and other support to Canadians living with HIV/AIDS, while providing prevention and education to at-risk groups.

Still today, one person in Canada is infected with HIV/AIDS approximately every two hours. In addition, about one third of people infected with HIV do not know they have it and continue to spread the virus. There is still no cure or vaccine.

As Santa Margherita continues in year four, their goals are to create as much awareness and participation as possible for the Walk and to contribute financially to the cause through their donation program.

During the following periods, 50 cents from the sale of each bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio will be donated in support of the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life.
